At SAAS we recognise that our people rely on their support networks to help process some of the stressors that they are exposed to in the workplace as well as in their personal lives, and we know that family can be integral to this support.
Immediate family members are often the first to notice when signs of stress are developing, but also may themselves be impacted vicariously by some of the same stressors.
This is why we offer the same Employee Assistance Program (EAP) supports to immediate members of family of our staff. This may include accessing counselling through accredited counsellors, mental health social workers or psychologists.
Through our EAP, immediate family members of current staff can access short-term solution focused supports for up to four sessions, per issue, per person, per calendar year.
Reasons that family members may access support may include navigating personal stressors, money issues, family relationships, and more.
