Volunteering with SA Ambulance Service

There are more than 1500 volunteers in regional South Australia in over 80 volunteer teams. Ambulance volunteers provide professional emergency ambulance and patient transfer services within their country communities.

About volunteering

“Having a local familiar face attend to a patient can be most reassuring. Any contribution to our roster is welcome. If you are adverse to blood, or do not think you have what it takes – there are many operational levels that may suit you. We need support ambulance assist personnel through to ambulance officers. ”
