SA Ambulance Service has closed its Call Direct service. All Call Direct units and pendants no longer work.

If you do not have a medical alert provider, you must call Triple Zero (000) in an emergency using a landline or mobile phone.

Returning a Call Direct unit

If you have a Call Direct unit or pendant, please follow these steps:

  1. Check the back of the Call Direct unit for ‘S.A.A.S. Medi Minder 3G’. This no longer works.
  2. Unplug the unit from the wall (black cord and plug).
  3. At the bottom of the unit, slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
  4. Post the Call Direct unit and pendant(s) to: SA Ambulance Service Call Direct, 205 Greenhill Road, Eastwood SA 5063.
  5. Or drop them to our headquarters at 205 Greenhill Road, Eastwood SA 5063.
