Sunday 17 September is World Patient Safety Day, recognised across the world as part of the World Health Organisation’s resolution of ‘Global action on patient safety’. The theme of World Patient Safety Day 2023 is ‘Engaging patients for patient safety’. Involving patients in their own care leads to better health and safety outcomes.
